Established in 2003, the company was founded by former senior executives of Cinema International Corporation (CIC) Home Entertainment (Hong Kong) Ltd. CIC was a joint venture company owned by Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios, responsible for the distribution of home entertainment products. The former senior executives of the company have extensive experience in distribution and marketing, having worked with major blockbusters and award-winning titles from Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, DreamWorks SKG, and renowned producers worldwide.
Currently, the company collaborates with major producers and licensors from various countries, including Korea, Japan, the UK, France, Germany, and the US, working on a diverse range of film titles. Its partners include Lotte Entertainment, CJ ENM, FineCut, Shochiku, Toho, Toei, RaiTrade, Reel Suspect, EuropaCorp, IndieSales, Westend Films, Beta Films, Metro International, Daro Films, and many others from around the world.
In 2015, the company released an epic music documentary showcasing the journey of one of the world's most iconic British New Romantic bands, Spandau Ballet. The documentary, titled "Soul Boys of The Western World," was directed by the acclaimed award-winning director George Hecken. Additionally, in September of the same year, the company co-hosted the band's first-ever live concert in Hong Kong.
2023 & New Business
In 2023, the company established a sister company in the UK, maintaining the same identity, to expand its business. This new company will operate in conjunction with their film distribution and development activities, also venturing into new business areas, including licensing and merchandising.
